Most people who visit Villajoyosa remember it for its brightly painted, fishermen's houses leaning against one another. As well as being a busy fishing port, it is the home of a very famous chocolate maker and visits to the factory and chocolate museum can be organised. Villajoyosa is just south of Benidorm. Villajoyosa also has a popular casino and a successful rugby football team.
