Benalmadena is one of the most important resorts on the whole of the Costa del Sol. It has three different districts beginning in the foothills of the Sierra de Mijas, where the town is some 300 metres above sea level and going right down to the Mediterranean sea where there is a magnificent marina with mooring for over 1000 boats.
